The heart of Volkshome comes from John & Joy Goodison who first founded the workshop 30+ years ago. At the time there were very few new VW’s being sold, it was the time when Japanese cars dominated the industry. The original focus was to dedicate the business to the service and maintenance  of vehicles made by VW in their heyday. As the VW Group grew, so did interest in their brands with Audi and Seat taking off in Australia throughout the 1990s. In the early 2000’s Skoda was added to the VW family and Volkshome tooled up to service and maintain Skoda vehicles as well.

To cope with demand, Volkshome expanded their business and have continued to grow alongside the interest in European brands. This has enabled us to acquire a range of specialist equipment designed to work on vehicles exclusively made by the VW Group and offer customers a full range of services to maintain and enhance their vehicles. Combining this with our vast knowledge of the automotive industry, it allows us to assure customers that their vehicle is in the hands of dedicated enthusiasts just like themselves.
